Ford – oh Ford, you are coming up with some of the most interesting things in the world and in Chicago right now you are revealing some of the best products you have had as of late. Have you people seen the brand new 2011 Ford Edge? This is one car that I think that everyone should check out at least once.

The reason for that is because this particular Ford is actually for the eco-friendly person. Not only does it have a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four but it’s also turbocharged and is smaller than most Fords that you have seen come out. Ford is switching up their thinking right now and the Edge is keeping with that new focus.

Police Interceptor for 2011: Ford Will Build It!

The Police Interceptor has been one of the accounts that Ford is known for. We all know exactly what type of car to look for when you are looking for the police and it is always going to be a Ford car – however, Ford just accounted that they will be perusing the development of the all-new Police Interceptor for 2011.

The move basically forms from GM’s announcement that it plans to challenge the good old Crown Victoria law enforcement dominance with its own heavy-duty Chevy Caprice, which I have seen a few police cars of that caliber. Ford is however going to go after the deal with the cops and hopefully – this Dearborn-based company will earn the deal.

Presently, Ford says that it shifts about 45,000 to 60,000 police cars in the states right now and they do not want to shift this deal on over to GM’s way. Stay tuned for more news!

The Mercedes-Benz S500 Vision Plug-In Hybrid — Rocks!

When I first heard that Mercedes-Benz is going to be making their own hybrid car … it blew my mind, completely! While Mercedes is known for their luxury cars, I did not think that they would also make up their own hybrid, however, the Mercedes-Benz S500 Vision Plug-In Hybrid was debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this week. Right now – it is in concept form, however, it is going to look awesome!

The Mercedes-Benz S500 Vision Plug-In Hybrid is going to have a 3.5-liter, V6 that is mated to a battery. The battery is going to be larger capacity lithium-ion and is going to be pretty awesome and last quite a while as well.

If you are looking for luxury in combination with hybrid, the Mercedes-Benz S500 Vision Plug-In Hybrid is going to be the right car for you!

American Cars: They Are Making A Come Back!

The reason why the automotive world for America has gone downhill is because American cars … in a lot of people’s minds have gone downhill with no recover. Well ladies and gentlemen, Autoblog.com has done a poll and well – 80% of people actually said that they would consider purchasing an American car whereas less than 50% said they would consider purchasing an Asian or European car.

However, that does not mean that all American cars are created equally, confidence right now is all in Ford. Most people have switched the gears in their head and have changed the direction of their choice back to Ford, where as lately, it seems that Ford is not a brand to be trusted.

Personally, I like any kind of car, as long as it runs, however Ford is certainly ranking up there, slowly but surely!
