The car is based around the Corvette ZR1′s powertrain and underpinnings. However, its carbon fiber body and its interior are not only completely original, they help make the car lighter by over two hundred pounds.

The car was inspired by jet fighter aircraft, especially in terms of the canopy and the fuselage, which is shaped like a teardrop.

It features butterfly doors as well; the overall design makes for what looks quite a lot like flying buttresses in the rear.

Its edges are sharper and the car itself is more aggressive than the Corvette, and there are a number of distinctive details.
