“The roadster is powered by a version of a V12 7.L powerplant which runs its other Zonda siblings. This powertrain can generate an exciting 678hp and about 57lb-ft of torque. The Zonda Cinque Roadster only takes 3.4 seconds to blast from 0 to 62mph. Top speed can reach beyond 200mph.

Doesn’t this brand new Volvo S80 look absolutely magnificent? I know I’m not supposed to like Volvo’s as they are the high point of Scandinavian boredom, but the S80 just doesn’t look like it’s boring. It’s well-designed, it’s sporty and it’s still absolutely high class quality-wise. Volvo is doing a great job with their new designs, and I’m… a fan.

The program of the car manufacturer is called “Employee Pricing Plus Plus” and is good for Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge model purchases. It will be launched through an advertising campaign on a national scale.

Consumers will be considered for the $6000-rebate if they purchase 2008 models. Car buyers will be able to get a $3500 rebate for 2009 models. The program is not applicable to the Dodge Sprinter.

Chrysler is also enticing the market by rolling a scheme of financing that is free of interest that stretches to 4 years.

The move is aimed at reducing their current swelling inventory of unsold cars. The company has 200% level of inventory over their normal figures when the sales dropped by as much as 50% in December 2008. During that time Chrysler had a supply of light trucks and cars good for 115 days.

At the start of January, car manufacturers had an average 94-day supply inventory.

Chrysler received a $4 billion loan to secure its cash flow. Its financial arm, Chrysler Financial got a boost of $1.5 billion enabling it to lend more.

Recently Fiat is taking a 35% stake at Chrysler and will eventually take control of more than half of its shares. The two has also agreed to collaborate and share components and technology to save money on their productions.

I won’t ever even consider buying one as the badge is… shit… but the car looks good and so do the specs this new Mazda sedan has… Good interior too. Good work, Mazdajaps!

Peter Horbury, executive director of Design, The Americas, believe that the Lincoln C will cater to urban-dwelling modern luxury buyers who want to help the environment by using a small vehicle while still enjoying life’s luxuries. Horbury calls what the Lincoln C offers “sensible indulgence.” According to Horbury, the Lincoln C concept car’s lightweight construction, size, and use of sustainable materials will make the car stand out.

The Lincoln C is powered by a turbocharged, direct injection 1.6-liter Ecoboost four, which produces 180 hp and 180 lb-ft torque. The engine fits into a six-speed twin clutch transmission. The C has a stop-start feature, and can go to 43 mph on the highway. The Lincoln C is about as wide as the MKZ and as long as the Ford Focus. The C doesn’t have a center post or B-pillar and has center-opening doors, which allow passengers easy access to first and second row seats. The six-seater has an all-white interior with leather trimmings, and an instrument panel that dons a mix of analog and digital instruments.

With in-car internet access, instrument panel with voice-activated cell phone, text messaging, digital media player, and an EVA avatar which responds to conversational speech, the Lincoln C will be a popular choice among younger buyers and drivers.
