It is that time again and now that Christmas is over it is time to get sick of the snow and truly hate driving in it. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though and that is my driving tips and tricks to keep you safe in your car during the long, cold winter months.
One of the first things that you need to do is make sure that you are going slow enough – that way you will be able to stop better and ensure that you do not crash into the car in front of you. If you are new to driving in the snow, one thing you want to keep in mind is make sure that you pump your brakes.
Pumping your brakes will not only allow you to avoid skidding but it will also ensure that you stop … really stop instead of sliding all over.

This year, Hyundai won several different awards for it’s marketing efforts and I can tell you that Hyundai is certainly centering their efforts on the customer more than anything – hence the reason for the Hyundai Assurance Program. If you are not familiar with this particular program, that is what we are going to talk about below.
The Hyundai Assurance Program is a program that allows Hyundai to take back the car if the customer lost their job. With all of the lay-offs that have been happening nowadays, I can tell you that this program really helped and now Hyundai is extending it through 2010.
Personally, I think that Hyundai is the best company to purchase your car from – not only is the product incredible, but the assurance program really makes sure that you can return the car if your lose your income.

Just recently, Toyota unveiled their brand spanking new Sienna MVP. It received its debut at Los Angeles’ 2009 auto show.
This Sienna marks the third generation for the brand. It seems to follow in the footsteps of its predecessors in a number of ways, such as with the fact that it is pretty convention, especially for a full sized MVP. This is especially true when you take into consideration the Toyota Sienna’s aspirations for marketing.
However, there are many innovative features as well — features that are, in fact, innovative but functional, which is really rather refreshing. Most of that innovation takes place in the interior, but there are surprises on the exterior as well.

A couple of months ago – this was a car that was revealed at the Frankfurt show. While most people agree that the Citroen Revolte Concept is not exactly the best looking thing around the expo, I have to disagree. I actually think that this car is pretty interesting and recently, this particular concept car actually just got approved for production.
It will carry the DS2 badge for right now and while most people hate this car … it is certainly different looking in my mind. The color however is something that could be left off, but I am sure – hopefully – that another color will be introduced. As of right now, the estimation is going to be 2011 but you could be seeing this car on the streets sooner.
The states though? We will never see the Citroen Revolte Concept on the streets, for it is just a European car.

The Police Interceptor has been one of the accounts that Ford is known for. We all know exactly what type of car to look for when you are looking for the police and it is always going to be a Ford car – however, Ford just accounted that they will be perusing the development of the all-new Police Interceptor for 2011.
The move basically forms from GM’s announcement that it plans to challenge the good old Crown Victoria law enforcement dominance with its own heavy-duty Chevy Caprice, which I have seen a few police cars of that caliber. Ford is however going to go after the deal with the cops and hopefully – this Dearborn-based company will earn the deal.
Presently, Ford says that it shifts about 45,000 to 60,000 police cars in the states right now and they do not want to shift this deal on over to GM’s way. Stay tuned for more news!

It is almost Halloween and you know what that means? Well, it means that not only do you get to dress up, but it actually marks the end of the month as well and we all know what that means – the end of a period usually.
October might not actually look as bad as many people thought it would for car sales, however according to J.D. Power, the industry that forecasts for pretty much anything sees that October sales are actually down just about 6%.
From what I originally thought, this is actually really good – however, this is the first time in about 17 months that sales have been under the double digits, which is really good isn’t it?

Oh yum. Yum, yum, yum. You are looking at the sumptuous, sleek Rolls-Royce 200EX, which premiered as a concept at the motor show in Geneva, which took place back in March. It was designed using the codename RR4, and car lovers got their first look at it threw sketches which made the rounds in May of 2008. Needless to say, it has come quite a long way since then.
The 200EX is not as large as the famed Phantom, but it is bigger than the cars in the 7 Series.
Reviewers consider the car’s exterior to be approachable, inviting, and alluring, and one would be hard pressed to disagree with those compliments. The horizontal lines are exquisitely sculpted and all in all, the profile is sleep, sweeping, and completely dynamic.

When I first heard that Mercedes-Benz is going to be making their own hybrid car … it blew my mind, completely! While Mercedes is known for their luxury cars, I did not think that they would also make up their own hybrid, however, the Mercedes-Benz S500 Vision Plug-In Hybrid was debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this week. Right now – it is in concept form, however, it is going to look awesome!
The Mercedes-Benz S500 Vision Plug-In Hybrid is going to have a 3.5-liter, V6 that is mated to a battery. The battery is going to be larger capacity lithium-ion and is going to be pretty awesome and last quite a while as well.
If you are looking for luxury in combination with hybrid, the Mercedes-Benz S500 Vision Plug-In Hybrid is going to be the right car for you!

You are viewing the Bertone Mantide. In Italian, mantide means “praying mantis.” The car is street legal, and a one off that Stile Bertone developed for a client. Jason Castriota, former designer for Pininfarina.
The car is based around the Corvette ZR1’s powertrain and underpinnings. However, its carbon fiber body and its interior are not only completely original, they help make the car lighter by over two hundred pounds.
The car was inspired by jet fighter aircraft, especially in terms of the canopy and the fuselage, which is shaped like a teardrop.
It features butterfly doors as well; the overall design makes for what looks quite a lot like flying buttresses in the rear.
Its edges are sharper and the car itself is more aggressive than the Corvette, and there are a number of distinctive details.
